The beautiful old town of Altea, the art capital of the Costa Blanca, is just half an hour away - a place where history and modern life stand side by side. Restaurants, craft shops/stalls, churches and works of art both traditional and contemporary abound. The local market on a Friday morning is a must where they sell everything from sun-ripe fruit and vegetables to ceramics, artwork, gifts, homeware, clothes and shoes and much more!
