The tranquil resort of La Herradura is perfect for a relaxing holiday, or as a base for exploring the area. This traditional house is situated in the heart of the village, a few minutes walk from the beach and all local amenities. There are two roof terraces to catch the sun all day, ideal for al fresca dining or sunbathing, with views over the village to the promotory of Cerro Gordo. The house is on 3 levels, with a large, L-shaped sitting/dining room with fireplace and satellite tv, and a well-equipped kitchen. There are three bedrooms.
The climate on the Costa Tropical boasts an average of 320 days of sunshine per year, so is ideal for winter breaks too. The lovely horseshoe shaped bay is lined by many bars and restaurants, with lots of delicious dishes, especially the seafood. One does a fantastic giant paella every Sunday!
The main bus stop is close by, giving you access to Almuņecar, Nerja, Almeria, Malaga and Granada, with its beautiful Alhambra Palace. Discover some of the lovely traditional white villages in the mountains, set among stunning scenery, just a short drive away. There are many beaches, and the Alpujarra and Sierra Nevada mountains to explore.
