The weather is dry and very warm (upper 20s), evenings are balmy, the crowds have thinned, the sea is at it's warmest and bargain flights have begun to re-appear - check out RyanAir who fly into Murcia. just a 20km motorway drive away.
Our apartment is very modern. It has a spacious lounge with a dining area leading onto a large full-width balcony; two twin bedrooms with ceiling fans, a luxury bathroom, a separate fully fitted kitchen plus utility room with washing machine and laundry facilities.
It is fully equipped and comfortably furnished. All bed linen and bath towels are provided and utility charges are included in prices quoted.
In the landscaped grounds are 3 flood-lit tennis courts, a barbeque and outdoor eating areas, a childrens' play area, and three pools and a jacuzzi.
It is just 150m to the sea and a similar distance to the nearest restaurants, bars shops and banks.
At the nearby picturesque Cabo Roig marina there are excellent restaurants close to harbour and the historic watchtower.
There are several safe, Blue Flag sandy beaches close by. The nearest, Cala Calita(Cabo Roigbeach) is just a 5-10 minute leisurely stroll and a mile away are the lovely Cala Capitan (pictured), La Zenia and Campoamor beaches.
If golfing is your passion 3 championship golf courses of Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villamartin are only about a 5-10 minute drive away. Two other courses, La Finca and Hacienda Riquelme golf courses also within a short drive. In addition, La Manga is only 30 minutes away.
In addition with access to the AP-7 motorway less than 2 miles away, the historic towns of Murcia, Orihuela, Cartegena and Alicante with their Greek, Roman and Moorish influences, along with the famous La Manga and Mar menor, are all within easy reach and well worth a visit, especially during one of their many festival weeks.
Together these facilities and nearby places of interest make this apartment the ideal base for both beach and golf holidays.
