The house is situated towards the edge of the village of Canet Lo Roig and is a typical Spanish terraced property - narrow,long and tall. Although the property is several hundred years old, it has been renovated to a high standard, whilst retaining many of the original features, with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and tiled floors throughout.
The ground floor is one long open space, containing entrance hall, lounge, dining area and kitchen. Originally the animals would have been kept here and the family would have lived on the floors above. The kitchen is well equipped with large range oven, a large American style fridge/freeze and a dishwasher. The lounge has a large television and is equipped to receive all the major free to air English television channels.
On the first floor there are two large double bedrooms, both with bathrooms and one with an outside terrace, with open views towards the mountains.
On the second floor there is a further double bedroom with en-suite and a further outside terrace looking out over almond and olive groves, There is a small lounge area on this floor with a double sofa bed which can provide additional sleeping accommodation if required.
Outside to the rear is a walled private patio area with a barbecue and outside eating space. Adjacent to this is a further patio area with a 7 x 3.5 m swimming pool; ideal for cooling down in the summer months. The water temperature is comfortable from May until September.
