PROPERTY AMENITIES

On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. There is a fourth bedroom off one of the doubles with bunk beds and a cot. There is a bathroom on the first floor, with a seperate WC downstairs.
On the ground floor there is a large dining/lounge area with log fire and DVD/Video pleayer. There is afully fitted kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave etc. Outside there is a pretty garden which features an old cider press. Garden furniture and barbeque are provided

NEARBY AMENITIES

Horseriding, rock climbing, walking, golf (1km), canoeing, hang-gliding are all available locally; there are many interesting museums and other interesting sites within easy driving distance. Excellent beaches are to be found again within an easy driving distance. At Clecy and nearby Pont D’Ouilly there are excellent times to be had ‘on the water’. Restaurants abound as you would expect to satisfy all tastes and ages. You will find plenty of ideas and recommendations in the guest book at the house.
Normandy itself is famous for the D-Day landings on its long beaches and for its busy Channel ports and elegant resorts. From Dieppe to Le Havre the coast is named after its alabaster coloured cliffs. West of
Le Havre are a number of smart resorts and sandy beaches, then the beaches of the D-Day landings
give way to the wilder sandy beaches of the Cherbourg peninsular ending in the Bay of Le Mont St Michel. The Seine from Le Havre to Rouen and beyond flows through attractive countryside with some interesting sights along the way. Inland are extensive orchards and a half-timbered farms producing delicious cider, Calvados, and cheeses - including Camembert. This is an easily accessed part of France with a recent and older history to explore and a cuisine to enjoy.
