Our holiday home is located 100 metres from a beautiful sandy blue flag beach in the village of El Mojon ideally situated on the border between Murcia and Alicante. The village looks onto salt lakes and natural reserves. At the south end of the village starts the "Mar Menor" (Costa Calida) while the north end looks to the neighboring village of Torre de la Horadada (Costa Blanca)

The house has two bedrooms on the top floor, 1 with a double bed and one with twin beds. In addition to this there is a double sofa bed in the sitting room. A fully fitted modern kitchen perfect for preparing meals in style and comfort. The lounge/sitting room can accommodate 5/6 people. There is Satellite Television offering movie channels, children's channels and many more. We have recenly added a a small conversatory to the front of the house which also has dining facilities for 5/6 people.
The house is also fully alarmed.

There is a terrace just off the kitchen area with dining facilities for 5/6 people. A conservatory out front which leads onto a patio/garden area with sun loungers. There is also a large sunblind which can be used during the summer months

The beach is a 5 min walk from the house and the swimming pool is round the corner with a shallow end, perfect for young children. It is worth mentioning that Mojon has some of the best beaches in Costa Blanca - stretching from Torre de la Horadada to the North down to the very tip at Punta des Algas. There are beach bars, play areas and fun fairs all within easy reach.

The main towns in the area are Pilar de la Horadada - Costa Blanca and San Pedro del Pinatar - Costa Calida. Pilar de La Horadada is the most southern town in the Costa Blanca region and celebrates various festivals during the the year. To the South of the village of El Mojan is the start of the "Mar Menor and San Pedro del Pinatar with its nature reserves.

San Pedro del Pinitar is is a must for water sport lovers. There is a market on every day of the week at any one local town, (Friday evening in Pilar de la Horadada) selling quality leather goods and lots more and a market and fair every night of the week in San Pedro del Pinitar during the summer season.

Both of these towns are within easy driving distance (5 minutes) from El Mojan with shops and some excellent restaurants. San Pedro del Pinatar is renowned for its salt lakes and therapeutic mud baths which are said to possess skin healing properties.

La Manga, Mar Menor, Murcia and Elche are all within a few minutes driving distance.

So, whether you are looking for sandy blue flag beaches, salt lakes, nature reserves, water sports facilities or just pure relaxation, this is the place for you.

Located 15 minutes drive from San Javier, Murcia and an hour drive from Alicante airport.
