July 2007 - Villa Krisana

Hi Linda
Well, unbelievably our 2 weeks ended on Sunday - don't know where the time went - but it really was just what the doctor had ordered - my family and I had a really great time. The villa was fantastic. We visited Murcia on the Thursday after we arrived, I went with my mobile, phone, but on returning to the villa it had disappeared so I had to get the number blocked.


As promised the villa was left in pristine condition. As we left late, we were unable to wash some of the towels that had been used that day so I have left them in the washing machine for the cleaner to do (again, please can you advise owner/cleaner of this). Also again because of using the shower room at the last minute - did not manage to clean this properly. We left the beds airing in readiness for the next people coming, but all bedding, including protectors and top covers have been washed and left in readiness for the cleaner to make up the beds.

The welcome pack was good - eggs, milk, bread, butter, cakes etc. Don't know if this had been left by Connie or Tom or the cleaner, but greatly appreciated as we had arrived late.

I think it would be a good idea to have instructions from Murcia airport. We knew the area a little, so we had a vague idea of where we were going, so on this occasion there was not the usual arguments in the car with Pat because I had sent us down the wrong motorway!
Linda you were fantastic - will definitely be using your company to book again - hopefully in the not too distant future. Look forward to receiving the return of deposit once you have heard that the villa is OK.

Dear Linda,

Just wanted to write and say A BIG THANK YOU for making our holiday at VILLA FARRA such a wonderful experience. I really appreciate the time you took at every stage to help us. In fact from the very first enquiry and your immediate reply helped us to decide it was good to work with you!

I also really appreciated that you allowed us to change our minds regarding our villa and respected our wish to change! I'm so glad we did Villa Farra is a "gem" of a Villa.
From the moment we arrived we were met by Christine and Debbie who kindly showed us where everything was - and telling us about the local area and what to visit! We really appreciated this as well as the Villa being spotlessly clean. Thank you.
We had a wonderful peaceful holiday - we could not believe how quiet it was even though we were on a Golf Resort. Of course we had some workmen noise during part of the day - but nothing to really be concerned about. Alan and I are both early birds so we took the opportunity to walk the Golf course each morning. We have some WONDERFUL pictures of spectacular sun-rises and sun-sets.
We loved when the Pool filter came on - it only added to the ambience - along with the bird-song! We had an exciting morning when we discovered a SNAKE - yes a SNAKE shading in the shutters! Alan made a good attempt of winding it round the brush handle and putting it over the wall into the scrub-land.
David our son "blossomed" throughout the week - especially having a Pool almost at his bedroom door! We've come back very happy and rested. We were even envious about the family following us and wished we could have stayed longer.
If I can offer one constructive criticism it would be regarding the welcome pack. Long-life Milk a tub of margarine and a loaf of bread was practical but not very sustaining, especially as the Resort was not fully functioning. I know earlier in the year you offered to buy in groceries for us and I completely forgot - so its as much our fault that we did not go shopping beforehand. However perhaps other clients would be happy to pay an extra 20 Euros on to the price to receive a real welcome pack of Wine, bread, cheese, milk, fruit, cereal etc - just to get us started.
Thank you again for making our holiday to the Murcia area a very pleasurable experience. Please send our best regards to the owner and her very tasteful decor! We felt very much at home.

Villa Corgat - June 2007

Linda a big thanks for providing such an excellent villa rental service after visiting your website & then speaking directly to you on the phone about our requirements. We had a fantastic holiday, and the villa more than exceded our expectations.

For anybody who is looking for a comfortable, relaxing holiday I would recommend this villa to them. But more importantly if you want someone to assist in finding a suitable villa then Linda French is very friendly, honest & reliable. The before, during & aftercare service was superb!
