The property is a traditional Spanish town-house on the outskirts of the small rural town of Mora d'Ebre. The town is a world away from the usual busy tourist resorts and gives you the opportunity to experience life in a traditional Catalan community. From your accommodation you will enjoy stunning views over the river and have the countryside literally at your doorstep but still have the convenience of shops, banks, internet cafes and restaurants within 2 or 3 minutes walk. In summer you may also use the Municipal outdoor pool for only a couple of euros per day -2 pools, a kiddies splash pool,lawned areas for sunbathing and a popular bar and restaurant.
Apartment Butterflies is located on the 2nd floor of the property. It is a spacious, two bedroom apartment and accommodates up to 7 people. There is a large family bedroom with a double and a single bedThe second bedroom has two single beds and there is a double sofa-bed in the lounge. If required we can also provide a cot and bedding, changing mat and potty free of charge.
The large kitchen-diner has ample cupboards, a full size oven with ceramic hob and extractor fan, fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and full range of crockery and cooking utensils. The large pine dining table is situated in front of the patio doors giving you a magnificent view over the river.

The area is rich in culture and history and there are caves, castles, medieval villages, historic cities, fantastic architecture, fiestas and local handicrafts to enjoy. The city of Tarragona which has some of the best Roman remains outside of Italy is only 45 minutes away and the vibrant city of Barcelona is only a 2 hour drive or train journey. In addition to all this River Ebro Apartments are only 25 minutes from the clean, quiet beaches and low-key resorts of the Costa Dorada. and 45 minutes from Port Aventura theme park so it is possible to combine a beach and countryside holiday here with activities to suit all the family.

Ryanair fly to Reus (45 mins from our apartments) from London Stansted,Luton, Glasgow, Liverpool, Dublin. Birmingham, Paris, Frankfurt and Seville. Alternatively try buying a seat only ticket with the many package holiday operators.
Barcelona Airport (1 hour 50 mins) - Check out Easyjet, Jet2, Monarch for low cost flights or the many other major airlines.
