This apartment is extremely panoramic, situated in one of the highest points of the Saracena Rock on which Sperlonga is constructed.

The apartment faces Terracina and Circeo and enjoys the spectacular sunsets.

The beaches are reachable on foot thanks to the little winding alleyways that arrive at the bottom of the town right onto the Sperlonga beach.

One can choose the ‘Levante’ beach, that goes way beyond the eye can see until Terracina, around 14 kms, or the magical beach of ‘Ponente’ that ends with the Tiberius grotto, an important roman emperor who in this area constructed his luxurious summer house of which some remains and relics can be seen on display at the archaeological museum.

The apartment is positioned in the historical centre extremely close to the Piazzetta (the little square) which is one of the most attractive points of this town. Well-stocked little shops are dotted around the town so, one can forget having a car here!

The apartment, roughly 80 sq meters is composed of a kitchen with a comfortable sized sitting room that through a window and a balcony, reveals a fantastic sea view.

Most of the furniture is wooden, the table, chairs, the sideboard and also the two sofas of which one is a sofa bed. In addition there is a multi-cd and cassette stereo, fridge and stove/oven; two bedrooms: master (sleeps 2), with a small balcony and sea view, the smaller one (sleeps 3 of which 1 is a bunk bed) opens onto the alleys.

The bathroom has been recently restored; it has a shower and a washing machine.

But the pride of this apartment is the upstairs… A wide private terrace accessible via a comfortable spiral staircase, is very well kept and private, it works as a solarium in the peacefulness of the day or as a dining area in the cool evenings. It has a big table, chairs, barbecue-on-wheels, two built in benches and a lovely fountain.

The heating and the hot water are centralised.


Concerning Sperlonga and its sea, you must know that the EU has granted a
Blue Flag in 2006 ( nine years consecutive) meaning that the sea is very
clean.

There’s enough to cater for all tastes: sandy beaches, nearby
mountains (big groups of free climbers can be spotted there) or the Spa

Sperlonga is not only halfaway between two important cities ( Rome and
Neaples) that you can easily reach in one and half hour but nearby it there
so much to visit!!

Halfway between Naples and Rome (120 kms either way): by train on the Rome-Naples line, you will get off at the Fondi-Sperlonga station and catch the bus to Sperlonga. Gaeta is only15 kms away. For those who wish to go the Pontine Islands of Ventotene, Ponza, and Palmarola or Capri (only from Easter to September) you can take the boat from Formia 22 kms away.
