It is situated in a prime position on the La Finca Golf development, which features a championship standard 18-hole course and - since mid-2009 - a fantastic modernist 5* hotel with extensive leisure facilities (health spa etc).
The villa has 3 bedrooms - two twins on the ground floor, sharing a bathroom, and a lovely master bedroom on the first floor with ensuite shower and dressing room.
All three bedrooms have ample wardrobe space.
The master suite has direct access onto the south-west facing circular solarium through sliding patio doors.
The solarium is very private, ideal for sunbathing as it is in full sun from mid-morning. There is plenty of room for loungers as well as a dining table which comfortably seats six.
Downstairs, the open plan living/dining room has access onto the lower terrace, again ideal for al fresco dining.
The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, full size cooker and hob as well as plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment.
The villa is part of a small community within the development which includes a number of friendly, permanent residents. Our community has a very well-maintained swimming pool and formal garden for all to enjoy.

You will need a car - however, the good news is that prices are still very reasonable in this region (rates start at around £10/day for a small hatchback in low season).
There's plenty to do and see locally. Two favourite beaches, at Pilar de la Horedada and Santiago de la Ribera, are shown in the photo album. The local Sunday market is great for, well, basically everything - but particularly local produce which is of superb quality and nothing like the 'sanitised' fruit and veg we are so used to in the UK.
The superb, freshly cooked churros and spit-roasted chicken also come highly recommended.
