Lovely two bedroom villa in magical Denia, shared pool, own garden, situated at the foot of the Montgo Mountain, ten minute walk to a sandy beach, resturants and shops nearby.

Our villa, Santa Lucia is set in it's own secluded garden, planted with palms, bougainvillea and hibiscus. You can relax with a drink on any one of the three terraced areas around the villa, or enjoy the mountain view from the shared pool. We chose the villa with our children in mind, everything is child friendly and there is a lockable gate to prevent them straying towards the pool. When you arrive you will receive a complimentary welcome pack with basic food items including some wine so that you can toast the beginning of your holiday!
Santa Lucia is situated in a quiet residential area at the foot of the Montgo Mountain National Park with it's abundant wildlife and many walks and nature trails. It is approximately 750 metres from a beautiful, well kept, sandy beach with parrots nesting in the palm trees alongside. A little further along is the elegant Marina, Club Nautico, it has a real air of opulence and is a great place to stop for a pre-dinner drink as many of it's bars have fabulous views, enjoy the wonderful sunsets! If you walk in the opposite direction, alongside the beach and around the headland, you will reach some small rocky coves, perfect for diving and snorkelling. There are some great bars and resturants along the way, wonderfully situated overlooking the sea.
Ten minutes walk from the Marina will bring you to the busy historic town of Denia with it's fine leafy boulevards, bars, resturants,museums, excellent shops, quiet squares and bustling harbour, overlooked by the ancient castle in the heart of the old quarter. The uniquely Spanish nature of the town makes it an exciting holiday destination all the year round. Visit the indoor produce market for fantastic fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, meats, cheeses and much more. A visit to the fish market on the harbour ensures a dinner caught only hours before. There is a bustling street market each evening on the main seafront esplanade and some really impressive resturants, both on the harbourside and in the town. Children are made welcome everywhere. Denia is famous for it's frequent fiestas which are spectacular and often exciting. The whole town turns out to join in with these, the atmosphere is friendly and festive and visitors are always made to feel welcome.
There is loads to explore in and around Denia, snorkelling, diving, boat trips, horseriding, hiking, safari parks, caves, a cactus garden and waterfalls, as well as the mountain villages, often full of history, against a backdrop of orange and lemon trees and vineyards.
We have had wonderful holidays in Denia all the year round, our villa is equipped for every season, and we have never run out of things to explore and enjoy.
