Old Bridge is a beautiful 16th Century manor house set within 2 acres of private grounds. This unique Elizabethan property features a large private garden with a wood and a stream and some excellent views. Within the garden there is a tennis court, heated pool and croquet lawn. Within a mile of Old Bridge, there are several excellent pubs and restaurants and also the attractive village of South Petherton. Further afield, Bristol, Bath or Exeter are only an hours drive away whereas Lyme Regis, Glastonbury or Cheddar are less than 40 minutes by car. The house has a large kitchen with Aga, and two sitting rooms, one with a big stone inglenook fireplace. For 2005 there will be three double bedrooms, one of which also has a single bed, two single rooms, and a family room with three single beds, sleeping twelve in total. A cot is also available, and, additionally, we have provided an extra folding bed for flexibility of groupings.
