cottage for rent in Davidstow, Camelford, Cornwall, West Country, England Light, airy stone cottage by Bodmin Moor and near the sea Converted from a sixteenth century barn and sheltered by trees with the old farmhouse nearby, Butterwell Barn is a unique moorland retreat, surprisingly close to Cornwall's beautiful north coast. We offer comfort and a friendly welcome, country views, wooden beams below a high peaked ceiling, a cosy stove, plenty of books and games, country walks and a safe garden well away from traffic for children to play and for peaceful enjoyment. Butterwell is a no-smoking zone, children are welcome and a cot is provided. Sleeping accommodation consists of a larger bedroom with an antique brass double bed (with new slatted wooden base and orthopaedic mattress) and a second smaller bedroom, spacious as a single but with a separate underbed which provides twin beds when needed or a second double if preferred. The wooden cot can be placed in either room but only with a single bed in the smaller room.
