This modern duplex style townhouse is approximately three years old and is fully furnished with comfortable and contemporary IKEA furniture. It is well equipped to accomodate six people. The bedrooms (1 double and two twin beds) are simply, but stylishly furnished and there is a spacious contemporary lounge/dining area leading onto a tiled first floor balcony/terrace. There is a communal swimming pool situated in the grounds of the urbanisation. The property also has ample room for parking. The shingle beach, seafront and village amenities are 5 minutes walk away.

The tranquil resort of La Herradura is perfect for those who appreciate a relaxing holiday away from the bigger, overcrowded resorts of the Costa del Sol. The resort manages to retain its Spanish charm and character whilst catering for its visitors. Many of the bars and restaurants are situated along the seafront and have a relaxed ambiance. There are many culinary variations and some excellent seafood! Local shops and supermarkets as well as banks, chemists etc are all close at hand.

The beach is never too crowded and you can while away the hours relaxing in one of the beachfront chiringuitos, or, if you are feeling more active, a variety of watersports including scuba diving, windsurfing and sailing are available.

The surrounding area includes the neighbouring resorts of Almunecar (5 minutes drive)and Nerja (15 minutes drive) for those in search of a more lively nightlife. Nearby attractions include the Caves of Nerja, Roman ruins and easy access to the Cero Gordo National Park and the Alpujarras for walking and outdoor activities. Scenic countryside abounds with many superb drives into the mountains to the traditional "pueblos blancos" or white villages. The ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are just over an hour away as is Granada and its beautiful Alhambra Palace.

Although a quiet and very scenic area, transport communications are good. Malaga airport is an easy one hour drive away along the N340 coastal route.
